Tri-Team Tournament – Match Day 4

The Relics teams started the day in the top two positions in the table, with the Relics Blues just one point ahead of the Relics Whites.

In sweltering heat the teams faced each other in the opening game of the day, which resulted in the Relics Blues extending their lead at the top of the table with a 1 – 0 win in a really entertaining game in which both teams missed penalties, Graham W firing wide for the Blues, and Gaz making a fine save from Andy Rich with the Whites penalty.

Both the Relics teams went on to win their second games on the day, the Blues beating Salcom A 2 – 0 with goals from Graham W and JoMo.
The Whites beat Maccabi A 3 – 0 in their second game with the partnership of Andy Rich and Stewart W proving very fruitful with two goals from Stewart and one goal from Andy.
