Community Walking Football

Did you used to enjoy playing football?
Do you think you are too old and the chance to play has passed?
Think again!

Walking Football At The Castle Leisure Centre In Bury

A fantastic way to keep healthy and have fun!
Sessions open to people of all ages and abilities.
Come along, have fun, meet new friends and keep fit.

Most people enjoy a brew, a biscuit and a chin wag after the game.
Some players, who wish to and are invited, go on to train and play league walking football with Bury Relics.

The Sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:15am until 12:00 noon. Please arrive at 11am and get warmed up. Usually, we have a round-robin, where 4 teams play each other.

The sessions are supported by Bury Relics players and are open to people of all ages and abilities, men and women. The lead volunteer, who will welcome you and help you to get settled in, is John Herbert (below in the red shirt).
