Training, Tri-Team Tournament, and GMWFL restart update …
Training:
As you will know by now the government announcements allow us to restart our training sessions, we have had confirmation that Goshen will be available to us from Tuesday 30th March for our normal time of 12:30.
We are hoping that Radcliffe Borough will be available on Friday 2nd April (despite this being good Friday) normal time 10:00am. This is to be confirmed.
Tri-Team Tournament:
Maccabi and Salcom have been contacted about the restart of our tri-team tournament on Thursday 8th April at Maccabi, but again this will be confirmed to everyone when this has been agreed.
GMWFL:
Just to give you all a heads up, the Greater Manchester Walking Football League are trying to organise a competition between all the local teams (Manchester only ) in various age groups i.e. Over 60’s, Over 65’s, and Over 70’s, these will be played on a home and away basis and again we will keep everyone informed as soon as I get more information.
Fingers crossed all this will come to fruition as we are all missing our gatherings a lot.
