Relics 60’s lose on penalties in Plate semi-final

The Relics over 60’s lost on penalties in the Martin Dawson Memorial Trophy Plate semi-final.
Having won the Plate in the same competition last season, the Relics were looking to try to better that performance if possible.
However, on the day the Relics didn’t seem to be firing on all cylinders and, although dominating some games, they failed to get the results.
The last group game was decisive, The Relics needed to beat Corinthians to finish second in the group and qualify for the Plate semi final. Goals from Alan and Graham W secured the 2-0 win for The Relics.

The semi final against Bolton ended 0 – 0, and in a tense penalty shoot out the Relics failed to score and went down 0 – 1.
