The Over 60’s had a tough start to their GMWFL Autumn 2021 season. Starting with a 0-0 draw with Bolton followed by a 0-1 defeat to Wakefield, then another 0-0 draw this time with Rochdale and finally a 0-3 defeat to Corinthians. The Relics played some good football in all the games and were unlucky on the day.
It was a really tough day for the Relics who where down to a bare minimum of 6 players whereas all the opposition teams used all their subs.
Well done to all concerned, Eddy (gk), Pete Shev, Tony G, Andy Rich Stewart, Keith S, not forgetting Pat who was standing by in case of emergency.
