Relics coach Ken Buggie has won the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Bury Sports Awards 2019. Ken was nominated for his work with the community walking football sessions and for coaching The Relics. In addition to Ken’s success Paul Massey from our sponsors Tower Family Healthcare was nominated for the Workforce Advocate Award.

Relics launch new kit
The Relics organised a press day at Radcliffe Borough FC to launch the new kit. Paul Massey, Partner and Executive Director of our main sponsors, Tower Family Healthcare, along with senior doctors from the Practice were in attendance.
Martin Dawson Trophy 2019
Bury Relics made their debut in the GMWFL Martin Dawson trophy. Relics finished fourth in Group B to qualify for the Plate semi final which they lost on penalties.

The over 60’s team clinched the GMWFL Spring 2019 Division 2 title to win promotion to Division 1 for next season.
